Pick up from your hotel in Beijing and transferred to Beijing West Railway Station. Take the early morning 3-hour highspeed train from Beijing West Station for Zhengzhou. Arriving at Zhengzhou Railway Station in the morning and met by our representative in Zhengzhou. Zhengzhou is a city on the south bank of Yellow River. It is the capital of Henan Province. Zhengzhou is China's biggest train hub and you can get here from nearly every major cities in China
First visit the national-level Museum - Henan Museum , which is a large-scale comprehensive museum in the central plain. Many ancient culture relics are stored in this museum. There are bronze wares from BC 11 century, potteries and architecture antique about 3000 thousand year ago.

Afterwards, you are arranged to visit Yellow River Scenic Area. Yellow River is the "mother river" of Chinese people. Chinese ancestors lived in Yellow River Basin. It nourished the vast territory along it and fostered the brilliant and intelligent descendnts of Yan and Huang Emperors (all Chinese people are the descendants of Yan and Huang Emperors). Yellow River Basin is the soul of Chinese civilization. In Yellow River scenic area, you will took a cruise on river by hovercraft.

At the end of the short tour in Zhengzhou, drive along the expressway for about 80km and get to the city of Dengfeng. Dengfeng is perched at the foot of the Mount Song, one of the most sacred mountains in China. The city is home to various religious institutions and temples such as the Buddhist Shaolin Temple and the Taoist Zhongyue Temple.

After breakfast, move on to to Shaolin Temple. Shaolin Temple is reputed as the Number One Temple under Heaven which was listed as UNESCO World Cultural & Natural Heritage List in 2010 as part of the "Historic Monuments of Dengfeng." Shaolin Temple is the birthplace of Chan Buddism-cradle of Shaolin Kongfu. In the temple you will have the chance to enjoy the real Kung fu performance by the monks.

Then drive for about 80km and get to the city of Luoyang. After lunch, continue to your afternoon tour in Luoyang with the White Horse Temple. The White Horse Temple in Luoyang is the first Buddhist temple in China, the important cradle of Chins’s Buddhism, which was introduced into China from India in 68AD in Eastern Han Dynasty (25 AD – 220 AD) , the same year when the white horse temple was built. After breakfast, move on to Tianzi Jialiu Museum. "Tianzi" means emperors while "Jialiu" means their chariots driven by 6 horses. The discovery of the Tianzi Jialiu Site has great impact on the Chinese archaeology and history. The musuem is built over the sacrificial pit area for the emperors in Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770BC – 256BC) with its capital at the site of the present day Luoyang. The burial of the royal horse and chariots here in Luoyang is earlier than that of terra cotta warriors during Qin Dynasty (221–206 B.C.) in Xian.

Then visit the Longmen Grottoes. It is situated on the Yihe River banks, about 12 kilometers from Luoyang city. It is one of the three most valuable Buddhist caves and rock carvings in China. The grottos were first carved during the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534), when the rulers relocated their capital from Datong to Luoyang at the end of the 5th century. In November, 2000, Longmen Grottoes was listed as UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.

After a late afternoon lunch, you are transferred to Luoyang Longmen Railway Station and take the later afternoon highspeed train for Beijing. Arriving in Beijing West Railway Station, met and transferred to your downtown hotel in Beijing.
