Dahui Temple

Locatd at Daliushu Beicun outside Xizhi Gate, this temple, built in 1513, is about one km from Zhenjue Temple.

The temple has 28 statues of Devas of Law Protection, executed in the 16th century. The statues are all three meters high color sculptures, standing on the seat of Sumeru and almost touching the ceiling of the hall.

On the inner walls of the hall is a group of colored pictures, describing the progress of a man who, through good deeds and the help of Buddha, attained Nirvana.
