Wuhan is the capital city of Hubei Province and the largest city in the central China.
Wuhan is a historical city with a history of over 3500 years. China's Chu culture starts here. The city was prised open to the foreign trade in 19th century by the Treaty of Nanjing. Today you still can find the colonial buildings in the former foreign concessions along Yanjiang Road and Jianghan Road. The 1911 Xinhai Revolution first broke out in the city of Wuhan, which sparkled the beginning of the end for the Qing Dynasty.
