Pick up from your hotel in Xian. First drive 120km east of Xian and get to Mt.Huashan . As one of China's five holy mountains, Huashan Mountain is also called Western Mountain ( Xiyue ) due to its geographical location in relation to the other four sacred mountains in China. The other four are Mt.Taishan in Shandong, Mt.Songshan in Henan, Mt.Hengshan in Shanxi and Mt.Hengshan in Hunan.
It is famed as the most precipitous of the five. It is the highest among the five great mountains. Mt. Huashan is situated 5km to the north of of Huayin County, 120 kilometres east of Xi'an City. Mt.Huashan is literally translated as Flower Mountain. It has an elevation of 2200 meters above sea leve.
Mt.Huashan Scenic Spot is mainly composed of 5 peaks – North Peak (1614.pm), the Central Peak(207.8m), East Peak(2096.m), West Peak(2086.2m) and South Peak(2154.9m). People have to climb up to the North Peak before reach other four peaks. There are two walking trails leading to the North Peak. The most popular is the traditional route in Huashan Yu (Huashan Gorge) starting from Yuquanyuan Temple (west gate)); the second trail is the Huangpu Yu (Huangpu Gorge) starting from Huashan East Gate. A cable car is set over the Huangpu Yu (Huangpu Gorge) trail.
You will be arranged to take a cable car up to the North Peak. If you don’t have strong legs, you may just stop on the north peak and enjoy the beauitful surrounding views. To climb all the peaks take about 5 hours. You may hike the East Peak or West Peak if you are inlicned to go further for more fantastic views.

After taking a cable car down, you are arranged to visit Xiyue Temple. Xiyue Temple is located at the foot of the Mt.Huashan. The temple used to be a religious place for the emperors to worship the god of the Mt.Huashan. The temple is nicknamed "the Forbidden City of Shaanxi", which has the similar structures as those in Forbidden City in Beijing. It has an area of 120,000 square meters. It is also the largest and the oldest temple among all the temples in the five holy mountains in China.

After the tour, you are transferred back to your hotel in Xian around 6:00pm.
