Xian 2 Day Group Tour B without Hotel

Arriving in Xian, you are either picked up from Xian airport or Xian railway station, then transferred to your hotel in Xian (booked on your own). Lunch on your own.

Pick up from your hotel in Xian around 1:30pm. First visit

Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, a large modern museum of the national level. It is a giant architectural complex in the Tang-dynasty style. It occupies an area of 70,000 square metres, and the construction area being more than 50,000 square metres. It focuses on the highlights of the Shaanxi culture and depicts the development of the Chinese civilization.

Then move on to Big Goose Pagoda. Originally

Big Goose Pagoda

consisted of a brick structure of five storeys and was about 60 meters high. Originally built in 589A.D- 6000 years ago. The Big Goose Pagoda is situated in the Da Ci'en Temple, four kilometers away from the center of the city. It is one of the city's most distinctive and outstanding landmarks, possibly the most beautiful building left in Xian today.

The half day group tour ends around 5:00pm, You are returned to your hotel in Xian.

Free pickup from your downtown hotel in Xian between 8:00am and 9:00am (Please note your local guide will call you the night before to confirm you the specific pickup time for next day tour).

First have a one hour tour of Banpo Museum. Banpo Neolithic Village Museum gets its name from the remains of Banpo village which is located east of Xian. The remains were discovered in 1953. The village was inhabited from about 4500 BC. It is recorded that about 6000 years ago, a village was set up by a late Neolithic people. There were about 500 villagers who lived in the village. Visitors can still see the remains of over 40 houses, over 200 cellars, 6 kilns.

On the way to the

Terra-cotta Army, you are arranged to go shopping at the Qin Terra-cotta figures factory for about 30 minutes. After visiting the factory, head to the site of the Terra-cotta Warriors for a 3-hour visit.

After Chinese lunch, you are transferred to Xian airport around 6:00pm (Please book your departure flight after 8:00pm)
