Visa-Free 3 Day Tour of Beijing

Arriving in Beijing, you will be met by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Beijing. After a short a break at your hotel, visit the Temple of Heaven ( 1.5 hours ), the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshiped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. The temple complex was constructed from 1406 to 1420 during the reign of the Yongle Emperor. Back to your hotel. Free for the rest of the day.

After breakfast at your hotel, have an excursion to the Mutainyu Great Wall ( 2 hours ). The Mutianyu section of Great Wall is located in Huairou district, about 80 km north from downtown Beijing. The Mutianyu Great Wall is less crowded than Badaling Great Wall. It is a green section of the great wall in Beijing with vegetation, green trees covering 90 per cent of the section.

After lunch, you are transferred back to the downtown Beijing and visit the Forbidden City ( 2 hours ), the Chinese imperial palace from the mid-Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the middle of Beijing, and now accommodate the Palace Museum.

Then move on to Tiananmen Square ( 40 minutes ), the largest public square in the world. The Tiananmen Gate on the south of the Forbidden City was built in 1415 during the Ming Dynasty. This was the site when in 1949, from a rostrum on Tiananmen (the Gate of Heavenly Peace), Chairman Mao proclaimed the establishment of the People's Republic of China. Back to your hotel.

After breakfast, start your morning tour with the visit to the Summer Palace ( 2 hours ), originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of Qing Dynasty. It has numerous traditional architectures in the park including pavilions, bridges, terraces, temples, pagodas, corridors, and the famous marble boat.

After lunch, head to the Olympic Green ( 40 minutes ) to to look at the outside of the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. The Water Cube has a total floor space of 50,000 square meters with a seating capacity of 17,000. It is dubbed "cube" because of its semi-transparent "bubbles" spread out all over its surface with a shape very similar to the structure of "H2O". Then, transferred to Beijing airport for departure or free activity on your own.
