Your tour guide will meet you at the exit of the Tianjin Port Cruise Terminal holding a sign with your name. The main terminal is composed of the custom house, luggage area and waiting halls. Your cruise ship docks just by the main building. Taking your handbags, you go through the customs. Then you go to claim your luggage at the check luggage area. If you have much luggage and cannot carry or roll them, you may ask the port terminal staff for help. With help of our representative or driver, you will be escorted to your waiting car or van, outside the terminal. After Chinese lunch, visit the Forbidden City in the afternoon. The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the mid-Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. Then move on to Tiananmen Square , the largest public square in the world. After the half day city tour in Beijing, you will be transferred to your hotel in Beijing.
Pick up at your hotel around 8:00am. First drive to the Underground Palace ( Dingling, one of the 13 Ming Dynasty Tombs complex ). From the Yongle Emperor onwards, 13 Ming Dynasty Emperors were buried in this area. You will visit Dingling, the tomb of the Wanli Emperor, which is the only one of the Ming Dynasty Tombs to have been excavated. After Chinese lunch, head to the Mutianyu Great Wall . The Mutianyu area is less crowded than Badaling Great Wall. The Mutianyu Great Wall is known for its beautiful surroundings - dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of the year. There are three ways ( optional ) to head up and down beside hiking on foot. One is the cable car, the second is a slideaway (toboggan) and the third is a chair lift. After 2-hour Great Wall hike, you will be transferred to your hotel in Beijing.
