200km drive (approxi 2 hours) from Tianjin Cruise Port to Beijing's city center

11::30am - 01:30pm

You will be arranged to have Chinese lunch in a pre-arranged restaurant. It is a Chinese table lunch shared by 8-10 people for one table.

01:30pm - 04:00pm

After lunch, visit Forbidden City ( 2 hours). The Forbidden City is the Chinese imperial palace from the mid-Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. For almost 500 years, it served as the seat-bed of the Emperors in Ming and Qing Dynasties as well as the ceremonial and political centre of Chinese government.

04:00pm - 05:00pm

Then visit Tiananmen Square (40 minutes), the largest public square of this kind in the world. Located in the heart of Beijing City, it is the site for massive parades and rallies, which is the largest square of this kind in the world. This was the site when in 1949, from a rostrum on Tiananmen (the Gate of Heavenly Peace), Chairman Mao proclaimed the establishment of the People's Republic of China.

05:00pm - 07:00pm
