Pick up from your hotel or train station in Taishan. First visit the Dai Temple at the southen foot of Mt.Taishan. The Dai Temple is a Taoist temple, the largest and best-preserved architectural complex on Mt. Taishan. Dai Temple was the place where the ancient emperors came here to worship the god of Mount Tai. Its construction started from Qin and Han Dynasties. It expanded in Tang and Song dynasties. Later it was renovated largely in Ming and Qing dynasties. It was listed as UNESCO world cultural and natural heritage 1987.

Dai Temple is usually the starting pointing for climbing the mountain now. After the tour of Dai Temple, transfer to the Midway Gate to the Heaven ( on the middle way to Mt, Taishan ).
