Pick up from your hotel, then head to People's Square to visit Shanghai Museum. The museum has the selection of over 112,000 Chinese cultural relics from the Old Stone Age to modern times, which includes bronzeware, calligraphy, paintings, pottery, porcelain, jadeware, stone carvings, Jiaguwen imperial seals, ancient coins, silk embroidery, dyed fabrics, ivory sculptures, ethnic craftsetc. Then walk to the Nanjing Pedestrian Road. It is regarded as the first commercial street in Shanghai. It was first built in 1851. Now Nanjing Road has turned into the number one site for shopping in the city. The large traditional stores no longer dominate the market since modern shopping malls, specialty stores, theaters, and international hotels have mushroomed on both sides of the street. Wander from the eastern end of Nanjing Road to the Bund. The Bund (Waitan) is one of the most noted architectural symbols of Shanghai. The word "Bund" derives from an Anglo-Indian word for an embankment along a muddy waterfront. The Bund in Shanghai was first used when the first British company opened a office there in 1846. The Bund, or the waterfront,is now surrounded by about 50 various buildings of different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance along from No.1 to No.33, west of No.1 East Zhong Shan Road. After lunch, continue to visit Shanghai Bazaar and Yu Yuan Garden. Yuyuan is the most famous garden in Shanghai. It is located in the heart of Shanghai's Old City (Shanghai bazaar), one of the few existant old tourist places in Shanghai. Shanghai bazaar is teemed with a great number of small streets and lanes where vendors sell their products and food stuffs to the tourists and local people. Then continue to visit the new development zone in Pudong - Lujiazui, which is teemed with the futuristic, avant-garde buildings - Oriental Pearl Tower, Jin Mao Building, Bank of China Tower. Taking the elevator to the 88-storey Observation Deck of Jinmao Tower to have a bird's eye view of Huangpu River. At the end of your private day tour, you are transferred back to your hotel in Shangahi.

Pick up from your own hotel in the morning and transferred to a designated hotel, where you get on the Expo Express Shuttle Bus leaving at 9:00am for Expo Site. The tour guide on the bus will take you inside the expo site; you will visit the pavilions on your own. After the full day expo day, you will take the same bus back to the designated hotel, and from where you take a taxi on your own back to your hotel in Shanghai.
