Early in the morning pick-up from your hotel in Shanghai, then transfer to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport ( or Pudong Airport) and take the early morning flight for Beijing. Arriving in Beijing at noon, met by our representative in Beijing and transferred to Mtutianyu Great Wall for 2 hours walking on the wall, one of the most beautiful sections of the sections of the Great Wall around Beijing. Mutianyu section of Great Wall is located in Huairou district, 80 km from downtown Beijing. Mutianyu Great Wall once worked as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs.
After Mutianyu Great Wall, drive back to the center of Beijing city to have a glimpse of Tiananmen Square . Tiananmen Square is the heart and symbol of Beijing and is the biggest square in the world. It is 500 meters wide ,880 meters long and the ground is paved with light granite slate disposed through special technology treatment. The flag-raising ceremony at sunrise and flag-lowering ceremony at sunset are the most magnificent rites.
At the end of the Shanghai Beijing day trip, take the later evening flight back to Shanghai. Arriving in Shanghai and return to your hotel on your own.
