Picturesque Royal Garden & Old Beijing Hutong Group Tour

Pick up at your hotel between 7:00am and 8:00am. First visit Summer Palace, the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. It is regarded as a museum of gardens in China. The visit takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes (Option: Kunming Lake Boat).

After lunch, move on to Jingshan Park (40minutes ) to have an eye-bird's view of this magnificent complex of Forbidden City. Jingshan Park is full of community activities, especilly on Sundays. Visit the place where the last Ming Dynasty Emperor Chongzhen hanged himself.

Continue to visit Beihai Park (40 minutes). It used to be a winter palace for emperors for successive dynasties. There are now two things to see here: the park itself and the round city.

Then get on a rickshaw to get through the zigzag and narrow alleys or hutongs. Two people share one rickshaw. You are not supposed to tip the pedicab driver since the tour cost includes the tip. Arrive at the old courtyard and begin your family visit. With the help of your English speaking your tour guide, you will have a detailed explanation of the old courtyard ( Siheyuan ) - its history, its layout, its Fengshui, and its traditional Chinese culture involved.

The tour will be over nearby the Houhai bar street before 17:00 and you will have your own exploration for the rest of time.
