Picked up from your downtown hotel in Beijing around 8:30am and transferred to Daxing Pear Cultivation Demonstration Area for fresh pears picking. Daxing District is locate in the suburb of south Beijing. It has an area of about 1,010 square kilometers. It comprises 9 towns and 18 townships with a population of over 520,000. It is a flat plain district serving as one of the satellite cities of Beijing. Daxing district is famous for its high quality fruits - pears, grapes and watermelons. visit the real rural Beijing, enjoy natural flowers, with good smelling air and natural bird’s sounds, without pollution and car noises.
A memorable lunch will be arrange at the unique farm house meal. After lunch, drive to Fengtai District which is located to the southwest of the urban area of Beijing with a population of about 790,000 and covering an area of about 304 square kilometers. Move on to
( Lugouqiao ). On July 7, 1937, the first shot of the anti-Janpanese War rang out beside the Lugou Bridge. The Marco Polo Bridge ( Lugouqiao ) dates from Liao Dynasty ( 911-1125 ), making it one of the oldest bridges in the world. It is so named because the famed Venetian explorer Marco Polo visited the site 13th century. It spans a dry river bed, the bridge is entirely of stone and without the benefit of mortar. After touring the bridge, transferred back to your hotel in the city center of Beijing.
