Mutianyu, Jinshanling & Simatai Great Wall 2 Day Tour

Pick up from your hotel in Beijing around 8:00. Then drive 80 km and get to the Mutianyu Great Wall. The Mutianyu Great Wall is densely wooded with fantastic natural views. Hike the Mutianyu Great Wall for about 2-3 hours. Then come down and drive to a local restaurant called "Xinshuangquan" for lunch. The restaurant has a tranquil environment. The signature dishes mostly emphasize peasant food and offering a fresh taste. On the way, you will have the chance to see and feel the local village life. After lunch, then drive 60 km and get to Jinshanling Great Wall. Stay at Jinshanling Hotel below the Jinshanling Great Wall. This is the only hotel within the compound of the Jinshanling Great Wall administration area. Jinshanling Hotel is divided into three parts - Villa type house, courtyard house and independent house. Dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast, around 9:00am starting the hike from th east section at Jinshanling Great Wall to the west section of Simatai Great Wall. The hike is about 12 km and takes about 4-5 hours traveling across 30 towers (east Jinshanling 15 tower and west Simatai 15 towers)! Get down the wall at the foot of Simatai at about 1:00pm and have a late lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.
