On both sides of the street leading to the entrance to Fragrant Hill, you will be able to find shops peddling fruits, snacks and toys. If you are not in the mood for a climb, you can take the chair lift up Fragrant Hills. The chair lift (optional)is a good way to enjoy Fragrant Hills'scenery in comfort. The 576 meters tall peak commands an excellent view of the surrounding greenery and city.

After Chinese lunch, continue your trip to Beijing Botanical Garden nearby. Beijing Botanical Gardens are located in the western outskirts of the city between Xiangshan Park and Jade Spring Mountain.
