Pick up from your hotel in Beijing around 8:00am and drive 90km to Shijinglong Ski Resort. This ski resort covers about total 3 trails, central trail 80 meters wide; 600 meters long and slopes with drop about 135 meters; the eastern trail 1000 meters long and 40-100 meters wide for high-level skier. You will enjoy 2-4 hour ski at the ski resort.
After lunch, move on to Longqingxia Ravine in Yanqing County to enjoy ice sculptures and carvings during Longqingxia Ice Lantern Festival. Longqingxia may not compare to the winter wonders of the Harbin, but it's the only ice festival around the Beijing area. In the past over 20 years, it has been held each year. Over 400 ice sculptures made by both Chinese and foreign artists are exhibited there. It is worth coming and seeing.
After the Longqingxia and Shijinglong ski trip, you are transferred back to your lodging hotel in Beijing.
