Hong Kong Guilin Yangtze River Xian Beijing 12 Day Tour

Arrival in Guilin, met and transferred to your hotel in Guilin. After dinner, free for rest of the time.

Enjoy a morning cruise down the winding Li River to Yangshuo. Return to Guilin. Dinner and Minority Performance in the evening.

Guilin morning tour of Reed Flute Cave. After lunch, visit Elephant Trunk Hill, then continue to visit visit Fubo Hill (Wave-Subduing Hill), standing solitarily in the northeast of the city and on west bank of Li River with half of the hill stretching into the river. After dinner, take the flight for Chongqing. Stay overnight in Chongqing.

Full day tour includes People"s Hall of Chongqing, Three Gorges Museum, Stiwell Musuem and Ciqikou old street. After dinner, transferred to the dock and board the cruise ship.

First arrival at either Fengdu, known as the "Ghost City", or Wanxian, or Shibaozhai (depending on river conditions). Then, return to the ship and pass towards the fantastic Three Gorges.

Today entry into the Qutang Gorge. Cruise ship carefully pilots its way through the narrow course. At Wushan, disembark the ship and board smaller vessels in order to explore either the Daning River or Shennong Stream. Reboard the ship and sail through the Wu Gorge.

Pass through the Xiling Gorge which is the longest and historically the most dangerous of the Three Gorges. We move on to the massive Three Gorges Dam and disembark for a tour of this engineering marvel at Sandouping Village. Cruise Arrival in Yichang. Transfer from cruise to airport, for your flight to Xian.

After breakfast, start your city tour with a visit to The Shaanxi Provincial History Museum - a large modern museum of the national level. Then move on to Big Goose Pagoda. Originally Big Goose Pagoda consisted of a brick structure of five storeys and was about 60 meters high. Originally built in 589A.D. Continue to visit the Great Mosque, the biggest and most preserved complete Chinese existent mosque. After lunch, visit Bell Tower. Then continue to visit the Forest of Stone Steles in Xi'an, a big collection of steles in China.

After having the local flavor - dumpling dinner, enjoy Tang Dynasty Show in the evening. Transferred back to your hotel.

After breakfast at hotel, have an excursion to the Terra-cotta Army - a lifetime viewing of the extraordinary 2200-year-old terra-cotta Army of China' First Emperor-Qin Shihuang. After lunch, drive back to the city center and visit the Xian City Wall, a symbol of great significance of the famous historic cultural city of Xian. Take later afternoon flight to beijing, back to your hotel.

Starting the day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the world largest square of this kind. Then move on to the imperial palace, also known as the "Forbidden City" that symbolizes the imperial and traditional China. After lunch go on with the visit to Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. Back to your hotel.

After breakfat, have an excursion to The Great Wall, symbol of Chinese civilization. After lunch, go on with the visit to Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs, where 13 emperors were buried in Ming Dynasty. Peking Duck Dinner and Peking Opera Show in the evening.

Transferred to Beijing Capital airport or free on your own.
