Hohhot Spa and Ski 5 Day Tour from Beijing

Pick up from your hotel around 19:30 and transferred to Beijing West Train Station. Take overnight train to Hohhot from Beijing by K89 at 21:00 for Hohhot . 4 people sharing one compartment.

You will be met by our local tour guide in Hohhot and transferred to your hotel - Jinjiang International Hotel ( 5 star hotel ) for buffet breakfast.

Around 9:00am, begin your city tour in Hohhot. Your first stop will be Dazhao Lamasery . Dazhao lamasery is the first Lama temple in Hohhot. For hundreds of years, it has been regarded as a religious heart for people from all over Mongolia. Then move on to Saishanglaojie . SaiSaishanglaojie literally means "Old street beyond the Great Wall". Located on the west of Dazhao Lamasery, it is an ancient street with the characteristics of Ming and Qing Dynasty.

After Chinese lunch, drive to Daihai Hot Spring Hotel located at Liangcheng County, 130km southeast of Hohhot city. After check in your hotel, you are arranged to have 2-4 hours bathing at the Daihai Hot Spring Resort, just 500meters north of Daihai Hot Spring Hotel.

Dinner will be arranged at your hotel - Daihai Hot Spring Hotel.

After breakfast, drive back to the city of Hohhot. On the way, you will be arranged to visit Mengniu Dairy .

Mengniu Dairy is a short form of its formal name - China Mengniu Dairy Company Limited. It is one of the two largest manufacturing and distribution companies of dairy products and ice cream in based in Inner Mongolia with its headquarters in Hohhot.

After lunch, you are arranged to ski at Taiwei Ski Resort for 2-4 hours. Taiwei Ski Resort is the largest ski resort in th west of Inner Mongolia with the most beautiful scenery, most complete facilities and accessibility.

After skiing, you are returned to your downtown Jinjiang International Hotel, a 5 star hotel in Hohhot.

After breakfast, check out your hotel around 9:00am and start your city tour first with Jiangjun Yashu . During the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), in order to consolidate the northwest boarder, in addition to the Hohhot city, Qing Dynasty ordered to build new town called Suiyuan city. Jiangjun Yashu, built for the general of the Suiyuan city, covers an area of 15,000 square meters.

you will visit the Hui District in Hohhot. You first visit the Great Mosque . The Great Mosque was founded during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). A great number of the Hui Muslim Minority migrated from Xinjiang, Ningxia and Shannxi to Inner Mongolia starting from that time. Then having a walk along the unique Islamic Street - Tongdao Street lined with Islamic Style buildings.

After lunch, visit Five Pagoda Temple . The Five Pagoda Temple is an important Tibetan Buddhist temple, which has been viewed as the symbol of Inner Mongolian now. As there are five small dagbas on the pedestal of the pagoda, it is named Wuta Si, Five Pagoda Temple.

Then, head to Inner Mingolia Mueseum to learn some basic knowledge of the development of Inner Mongolia. The Inner Mongolian Museum is a provincial level museum, the largest and best museum in Inner Mongolia. It has a wide selection of ethnic Mongolian items, and a historical lineage of this huge grassland province.

After dinner - mutton hot pot, you are transferred to Hohhot Railway Station and take overnight train K90 starting at 21:23 - next day 7:20am for Beijing.

Arrival in Beijing at 7:20am and transferred to your hotel or residence in Beijing.
