Pick-up from your hotel in Hohhot around 9:00am and start your day tour with Dazhao Lamasery . Dazhao Lamasery is the largest and well preserved lamasery in Hohhot. It was founded originally in Ming Dynasty, and reconstructed in Qing Dynasty. As the first Lama temple in Hohhot, it has been regarded as a religious heart for people from all over Mongolia.

Then move on to the Five Pagoda Temple . It is an important Tibetan Buddhist temple, which has been viewed as the symbol of Inner Mongolian now. As there are five small dagbas on the pedestal of the pagoda, it is named Wuta Si ( Five Pagoda Temple ), which has been listed as a national historical site since 1988.

After Five Pagoda Temple, head to Mongolia Museum . The Inner Mongolian Museum is a provincial level museum, the largest and best museum in Inner Mongolia. It has a wide selection of ethnic Mongolian items, and a historical lineage of this huge grassland province. The museum is home to a variety of interesting exhibitions that should catch your eyes.

After lunch, continue to visit Zhaojun Tomb . It is the resting place of Wang Zhaojun. Wang Zhaojun was one of the four well- known beauties in ancient China. She was born in Han Dynasty and was selected to imperial palace for her goodliness. The bronze statues of Wang Zhaojun and her husband (Khan), depict a vivid picture of them riding horses and talking to each other intimately.
