Guilin Longji Rice Terrace Yangshuo 4 Day Tour

Met at Guilin Airport or Guilin Train Station and transferred to your hotel ( booked by us ).

First you have a la carte lunch with an a la carte menu at a nice local restaurant, where you could enjoy the authentic Chinese food. Then have a stroll along the charming Shanhu Lake in the city center. Shan Lake ( Fir Lake )is on the east side of Rong Lake and connected with Li River. The Sun Tower and the Moon Tower are the highlight of the lake. The higher Sun Pagoda is connected by an underwater tunnel to the seven-story octagonal pagoda.

After walking around Shanhu Lake, move north to walk along Guilin's pedestrian street known as "Zhengyang Pedestrian Street". Zhengyang Pedestrian Street is on the northern bank of Shan Lake by the right side of Lijiang Waterfall Hotel. The over-600 meter street is full of stores, restaurants, bars. You will have the chance to see the local products and souvenirs.

Drive north to Folded Brocade Hill. Folded Brocade Hill is located about 2.5 km north of Rong Lake or Zhengyang Pedestrian Street. This is the best place to have a panoramic view in Guilin with spectacular views of Li River, Mulong River, Hubo Hill and Solitary Hill. It is a 20-minute' hike to the Bright Moon Peak (明月峰）for the spectacular view.

Transferred back to your hotel in Guilin.

Pick up from your hotel in Guilin and drive about 1.5 hours to Longji Rice Terrace Ticketing Office, 90km northwest of Guilin city center. Longji Rice Terrace Scenic Area encomposes five natural villages – Dazhai Village (大寨) & Tiantouzhai Village (田头寨) (both Yao minority villages), Ping'An Zhuang Minority Village (平安寨), the Ancient Zhuang Minority Village (龙脊古壮寨）and Huangluohong Yao Minority Village (黄洛红瑶寨).

You are arranged to visit Dazhai Village (大寨) &Tiantouzhai Village (田头寨). Dazhai Village and Tiantouzhai Village are about 23 km to the northeast of the Longji Ticketing Office. Tiantouzhai is located on the hillsides above Dazhai Village. Both the two villages are roughly in the same area.

There are three high viewing platforms in the area – Platform No. 1, No 2 and No. 3. The Platform No.03 can be reached by the cable car service starting from the parking lot and by the entrance. You are arranged take cable car up the Viewing Platform No.03 for a bird-eye's view of the magnificent terraced paddy fields.

Then take cable car down. After lunch, have a stroll around Dazhai Village at the base of the terraced mountains. You will see Miao's wooden stilt-houses. There are also some intriguing things related to batik making, distillery, embroidery and silver arts. If you have strong legs, you may hike towards the Platform No.02 for the amazing view of the rice terraced fields.

At the end of the day, you are transferred back to your hotel in Guilin.

Pick up from your hotel early the morning. Then drive about one hour to reach the Zhujiang Pier for a four hours's cruising on Li River - the highlight of sightseeing tour in Guilin with lunch aboard. The 83-km long Li River from Guilin resembles a jade ribbon flanked by idyllic paddy fields and green forested hills, and dotted with pinnacled peaks, yellow shoals, bamboo groves, odd shaped crags, deep pools and flying waterfalls. Li River is full of surprises which will ignite your imagination to fully appreciate the bestowed beauty. The lunch on board is very basic and you are advised to bring some snacks.

Your boat will bring you to Yangshuo. You will find yourself ending up here in the West Street (Xi Jie) 西街, a 500-meter vibrant street roughly starting from Yangshuo Dock where you disembark from your boat to Pantao Road (蟠桃路), a northeast – southwest street. This renovated old street has a a carnival feel, full of bars, souvenirs stands, restaurants, shops. Though the commercialization has cheapened its allure a bit, it is still an interesting place for people watching, drinking, eating and shopping. You will find a lot of street food, and souvenirs ranging from tacky gadgets to nice Miao embroidery.

You are arranged to bike thought the 6-km Shili Scenery Gallery in Yangshuo (骑行十里画廊). "Shili" literally means "10 li" in Chinese. The "li" is known as Chinese mile, a traditional Chinese unit of distance. Now one "li" is equal to a half kilometer. The Shili Scenery Gallery in Yangshuo (阳朔十里画廊) refers to the memerrizing 6km-long road starting from the southern end of Kangzhan Road (抗战路) in downtown Yangshuo to Moon Hill in Gaotian Town.

The 6km scenic road is flanked by idyllic fields, weird caves, undulating karst hills, the charming Yulong River, old Banyan trees, ancient villages, and seasonal flowers, presenting a picturesque corridor which is dubbed as "Shili Scenery Gallery ".

Back to your hotel after the bike tour.

After breakfast at your Yangshuo hotel, you are transferred to Guilin airport or train station for your next destination.
