Picked up from your downtown hotel in Beijing around 8:30am and tranferred to Changling Town of Changping District for Chinese dates (jujubes) picking. Changping District has flat terrain full of orchards and farmland. Changping District has an area of 1,430 square kilometers. The Changling Village overgrows with dates, peaches, apples, and chestnuts. In the traditional Chinese wedding ceremony, the jujubes (Chinese dates) is often placed in the newlyweds' bedroom as a good luck charm for fertility, along with peanuts nd chestnuts, punning on an invocation to "have an honored child soon".
After pe-arranged Chinese lunch, move on to
for a hike. Juyongguan Pass is situated in a valley named "Guangou" as long 20 kilometes, which is within Changping District over 50 kilometers north from downtown Beijing. It is one of the three most famous passes of Great Wall in China. The other two passes are Shanhai Pass and Jiayuguan Pass. After the whole day trip, you are transferred back to your downtown hotel in Beijing around 5:30pm.
