Pick up from your downtown hotel in Chengdu around 8:00am and head to the Wolong Giant Panda Reserve. It is approximately 130km in the west of Chengdu. The drive takes about 3.5 hours. After Chinese lunch, you are arranged to visit both the Giant Panda semi-nature Enclosure and Ecology Museum (Giant Panda Museum). Stay at a local hotel. Dinner included.
After breakfast, have an excursion to Hero's Valley. The 2.5-hour hiking is worthwhile to see with your own eyes the natural surrounding of the area where the Giant Pandas live. After lunch, you will hike back down to Wolong and there transferred back to your hotel in Chengdu. ( B L )
