Beijing Tianjin Chengde 8 Day Highlight Tour

Arrival at Beijing, met and transferred to the Tiananmen Square, one of the largest squares in the world. Then move on to the Forbidden City, the residence of the Emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. After dinner, enjoy your shopping at the famous shopping street - Wangfujing.

After breakfast, first visit, the largest imperial garden in China. The Summer Palace was a favorite haunt of the Dowager empress Cixi for her own enjoyment.

After lunch, enjoy the tea ceremony at the Tea House. Then move on to Zhonghua Millennium Memorial, symbolic of Chinese history, civilization and culture. Finally visit Temple of Heaven, the place where the Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. Beijing Peking Duck Dinner. Beijing Acrobatic Show

First visit the Jade Museum to have a basic knowledge of China jade culture. Then begin the highlight of your Beijing tour, hiking the Great Wall of China, Badaling Great Wall, a massive military defense works which was left from the Ming dynasty.

After lunch, drive to the Underground Palace (Dingling, one of the 13 Ming Dynasty Tombs complex). From the Yongle Emperor onwards, 13 Ming Dynasty Emperors were buried in this area. You will visit Dingling, the tomb of the Wanli Emperor, which is the only one of the Ming Dynasty Tombs to have been excavated. Dumpling Dinner.

Head to to Shichahai Area behind Beihai Park for Hutong tour. First take rickshaw going around the deep Hutong in Shichahai area, visiting an ordinary family in a courtyard. Then ascend the Drum Tower and have a bird's eye view of the old Beijing.

Transfer to Beijing South Railway Station, take Bullet train to Tianjin. Visit Culture Street, Hai He Scenic Area, and Heping Pedestrian street. Enjoy lunch with Tianjin local flavor including famous Goubuli steamed buns. Take the bullet train back to Beijing on the same day. Transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.

Have a pleasant ride to Chengde. First visit Putuo Zongcheng Temple, also called Little Potala Palace. It was built in 1767. It is one of the Eight Outer Temples outside the Mountain Resort. Then you move on to the Puning Temple, or Temple of Universal Peace, first built in 1775, it is a treasure house of the ancient arts of architecture and sculpture.

After lunch, go to visit the Mountain Resort, Built for 89 years beginning from 1703, it is the largest imperial garden. Take a private car or van back to Beijing and check into your hotel in Beijing

Photo stop at Olympic Stadiums – Bird Nest and Water Cube in the morning. Shopping at the famous local Bazaar – Silk Market Market. Hot Pot Mutton dinner.

You are free at leisure and transferrd to Beijing capital airport for your flight back to Singapore.
