After breakfast at your hotel, start your tour with the visit to Tiananmen Square ( 40minutes ), the largest public square in the world. Then move on to the Forbidden City ( 2 hours ), the Chinese imperial palace from the mid-Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty.
Then move on to Jingshan Park ( 40 minutes). Jingshan is just north of the Forbidden City on the central axis of Beijing. First as an imperial garden, it is now a public park, known as Jingshan Park. The 45-metre high man-made hill was built in the Yongle era of the Ming Dynasty entirely from the soil dug from the moats of the Imperial Palace and nearby canals.

The last emperor of the Ming Dynasty, Chongzhen, committed suicide by hanging himself here in 1644. Jingshan is also famous for its peonies and other flowers like peach. The best time for viewing the more than 200 varieties of peonies inside the park is from late April to mid-May.
After lunch , continue to visit the Temple of Heaven ( 1.5 hours ), the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshiped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest.
Pick up from your hotel in Beijing around 8:00am and drive to the Mutainyu Great Wall ( 2 hours ). The Mutianyu Great Wall is quite famous for its green and dense forest. It has an extremely beautiful natural landscape once you are up on the wall, covered all over by green trees and flowers in spring. This section of the Great Wall is comparatively smoother and less crowded than most of other sections. Hike for 2-3 hours at Mutianyu Great Wall.

After visiting the Mutianyu Great Wall, continue to drive to Lady Lee's courtyard home in Diaowo Village ( 1.5 hpurs ). Driving alongside Huangsongyu Reservior, you soon enter the picturesque Diaowo Village in Pinggu District of Beijing. The village has 54 households with over 100 villagers. Today you will meet Mrs Li and her husband Mr. Hao in their courtyard home.
A few years ago Mrs. Li retired and left the busy downtown Beijing and relocated to her husband birth place for spending the retirement life. Now she eats the vegetables she plants in her front yard and the Geese & Chickens in her back yard, enjoying an organic living and healthy life. You will have a home lunch made by Lady Li. Lady Li speaks some English, so this will be helpful to your mutual communication.

Saying good-bye to Lady Li, move on to Peach Orchards in Pinggu ( 1.5 hours ). Pinggu is home to the world's largest peach orchards with about 20,000 hectares of peach trees. Ypu will drive along the famous peach blossom sea road and stop to take pictures of the "sea of peach blossoms". Normally the peach trees blossom in the mid April. Back to your hotel after the autumn excursion.

After breakfast, start your morning tour with the visit to the Summer Palace ( 2 hours ), originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of Qing Dynasty.
Head to the Olympic Green to have an outside look at the Bird's Nest and Water Cube( 40 minutes ).
After lunch, transfer to airport for departure or free activity on your own.
