This 4-day private tour connects Beijing, Luoyang, and Xi'an via high-speed train, offering a smooth journey through China's imperial heartland. Starting with pickup from your Beijing hotel, travel to Luoyang by second-class rail. Explore the Longmen Grottoes, a UNESCO site with thousands of Buddhist carvings, and the ancient White Horse Temple. Visit the legendary Shaolin Temple, birthplace of kung fu. Continue to Xi'an to marvel at the Terra-cotta Warriors, an army of life-sized figures guarding Emperor Qin's tomb. Ascend the Bell Tower for panoramic views of the old city. Throughout, your private guide and vehicle ensure a personalized, no-shopping experience. Return to Beijing by high-speed train on day four.

Pick up from your hotel in Beijing and take morning high-speed train (second class seating) starting from Beijing West Railway Station for Luoyang. Arrive in Luoyang, met by our representative in Luoyang and transferred to our designated hotel in Luoyang. Free for rest of the day.
After breakfast, first visit the Longmen Grottoes. It is situated on the Yihe River banks, about 12 kilometers from Luoyang city. It is one of the three most valuable Buddhist caves and rock carvings in China. The grottos were first carved during the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534), when the rulers relocated their capital from Datong to Luoyang at the end of the 5th century.

Then continue to visit the White Horse Temple, the first Buddhist Temple ever built in China, the important cradle of Chins's buddhism, which was introduced into China from India in 68AD in Eastern Han Dynasty (25 AD – 220 AD) , the same year when the white horse temple was built.

After lunch, take one and half hours'drive to Shaolin Temple about 80 km away from Luoyang city. Shaolin Temple is the birthplace of Chan Buddism-cradle of Shaolin Kongfu. In the temple you will have the chance to enjoy the real Kung fu performance by the monks. Shaolin Temple is famous not only as one of China's most important Buddhist temples, but also as the center of Chinese kung-fu. After Shaolin Temple tour, drive back to Luoyang and stay overnight in Luoyang.

Pick up from your hotel in Luoyang and transferred to Luoyang Longmen Railway Station and take the high speed train (second class seating) from Luoyang for Xian. Met by our representitive in Xian and have lunch first. After lunch, visit Terra-cotta Army.
It is located about 30km east of the Xian City. The museum includes Pit 1, Pit 2 and Pit 3 as well the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses. The Pit 1 is the largest of the three. The museum and the mausoleum are listed the world's cultural legacies as the UNESCO.

Then drive back to the city center of Xian and visit Xian City Wall. It is the most complete city wall that has survived in China as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Stay overnight in Xian.

After breakfast, move on and ascend the Bell Tower. In Chinese history from Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), each city had a bell tower and a drum tower. The bell was sounded at dawn and the drum at dusk each day in ancient time, a means of telling time. The two are located in the center of the Xian city connecting the four roads from east, south, west and north within the city wall. Atop the Bell Tower you will have a panoramic view of the Xian City.

Then continue to visit Xian Muslim Quarters. For the tourists coming here, the bazaar in the Muslim area is most attractive with a wide area of stalls selling everything. The streets and walkways are full of life. The shopping is great, some unusual items you will seldom see anywhere else in China.

After visiting Xian, transferred to Xian North Railway Station and take the high-speed train (second class seating) from Xian for Beijing. Met and transferred to your downtown hotel in Beijing
