Beijing Jinan Qufu Taishan 3 Days Tour

Beijing - Jinan ( L ) by high speed train G33 (09:33 - 11:19 ) - Tai'an by road ( L )

Pick-up from your hotel, then transfer to Beijing South Train Station. Take morning train D35 G33 (09:33 - 11:19 ) for Jinan. Met by our tour guide in Jinan. After lunch, start your city of Jinan by visiting the famous Baotu Spring Park . Baotu Spring Park ranks the first among the 72 local springs. Your visit to Jinan is incomeplete with a glimpse of the Baotu Spring Park. In the past Emperor of Qing Dynasty granted to the spring the great title"the first spring under the heaven" after he tasted the delicate fragrance of the tea infused by the spring on his south tour. The Baotu Spring Park is also famous for its abundant cultual herutage and scenic beauty.

After visiting the Baotou Spring Park in Jinan, drive for one hour to Dai Temple at the southen foot of Mt.Taishan and in the city center of Taishan. The Dai Temple is a Taoist temple, the largest and best-preserved architectural complex on Mt. Taishan. Dai Temple was the place where the ancient emperors came here to worship the god of Mount Tai. Its construction started from Qin and Han Dynasties. It expanded in Tang and Song dynasties. Later it was renovated largely in Ming and Qing dynasties. It was listed as UNESCO world cultural and natural heritage 1987. Dai Temple is usually the starting pointing for climbing the mountain now.

Stay overnight at Ramada Hotel ( 5 star ) in Tai'an.

After breakfast at your hotel, take a private car or van to the Midway Gate to the Heaven ( on the middle way to Mt, Taishan). Take the cable car from Midway Gate to Heaven to the top - South Gate to the Heaven. A few minuts later, you will be on the top of Mount Tai. and sightseeing at the Mt.Taishan . Mount Taishan is located in central-western part of Shandong Province. Rising 1545 meters above sea level, it is the most significant of the 5 sacred peaks in China. In history, 72 Chinese emperors came here for worshiping or holding ceremonies of handing crowns. In 1987, together with Dai Temple, Mount Tai was listed as world cultrual heritage.

After hiking the Mount Tai , drive another one hour to Qufu on the Jingfu Highway. Qufu is about 200 km south of Jinan. Arriving in Qufu, met by our tour guide in Qufu.

Pick from your hotel in Qufu, First visit Confucius Temple , built in 478 B.C, a place for offering sacrifices to Confucius in various dynasties. Then visit the Confucius Family Mansion , the government office and private mansion of Confucius descendants. Then move on to Confucius Family Graveyard , the largest, the oldest and the best preserved religious tombs and gardens.

After the visit in Qufu, transferred to Qufu Railway Station and take the high speed train G146 (18:09-20:00) for Beijing. Return to your hotel in Beijing on your own.
