Beijing Chifeng 4 Day Round Trip Tour

Picked up from your hotel in Beijing and transferred to Beijing North Rail Station for an overnight train to Chifeng. 4 people sharing one cabin.

Arriving at Chifeng early in the morning and met by our English speaking tour guide. After breakfast, drive all the way north (4 hours) to Gong Geer Grassland in Keshiketeng Qi (Hexigten).

Located 35km to the west of the county seat of Keshiketeng Qi, the Gong Geer Grassland is reputed as the"Natural Garden" epitomized by the boundless pasture, numerous flowers, clear waters and roaming hordes, a picturesque grassland. Its south is linked to Dalinur Lake (Dali Lake) Nature Reserve. Gong Geer Grassland has numerous lakes of various sizes. It is an important wetland in China.

After lunch, move on to Dalinur Lake (Dali Lake) for sightseeing (2 hours). Established as Dalinur National Nature Reserve in 1997. Dalinur is the second largest lake in Inner Mongolia, one of the three swan lakes in China with other two being Bayinbuluk Lake in Xinjiang and Panyang Lake in Jiangxi. The nature reserve has an area of 1200 square km aimed at protecting rare birds and their habitat such as lakes, wetland, grassland, deserts and forest. Visiting the water paradise and a local museum, have a distant view of the volcano crater of Zhenzi Moutain.

Head to Baiyin'aobao National Nature Reserve. Located in Keshiketeng Qi and linked to Gong Geer Grassland, it is a beautiful nature reserve mainly for protecting the sandy spruce forest rare in the world. The sandy spruce trees look like pagodas with red trucks and green leaves, ever-green trees. "Baiyin Aobao" means "weathy mountains", a holy place for local herders for sacrificial activities. You will drive by the sandy spruce trees.

After dinner, you will have revels with the locals at a bonfire party under a starry sky.

Get up early for a glimpse of the sunrise over the grassland. After breakfast, head to Asihatu Stone Forest (70km) for sightseeing. Asihatu Stone Forest is a geological park integrating stone forest, grassland and forest. Asihatu granite is a rare stone forest landform.

Asihatu Stone Forest is the result of years of erosion by wind and sand, and it looks like an ancient castle, towers, bamboo shoots, pillars, lions, gates, Buddha or fairies. The whole Asihatu Stone Forest tourist district is teeming with towering trees, flowers, green grass and mushrooms.

After lunch, drive back to Chifeng (360km) for dinner. After dinner, take the overnight train for Beijing. 4 people sharing one cabin.

Arriving at Beijing North Railway Station early in the morning, met and transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.
