Beijing 5 Day Highlight Tour

Upon arrival in Beijing, met by our English speaking tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Beijing. You are at your leisure to explore the city.

Arrival at Beijing, met and transferred to the Tiananmen Square, one of the largest squares in the world. Then move on to the Forbidden City, the residence of the Emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

After lunch, continue to visit Temple of Heaven, the place where the Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. Shopping at a local silk store. You are at leisure for the remainder of the day.

First visit the Jade Museum to have a basic knowledge of China jade culture. Then begin the highlight of your Beijing tour, hiking the Great Wall of China, Badaling Great Wall, a massive military defense works which was left from the Ming dynasty.

After lunch, drive to the Underground Palace (Dingling, one of the 13 Ming Dynasty Tombs complex). From the Yongle Emperor onwards, 13 Ming Dynasty Emperors were buried in this area. You will visit Dingling, the tomb of the Wanli Emperor, which is the only one of the Ming Dynasty Tombs to have been excavated. Beijing Peking Duck Dinner.

After breakfast, visit, the largest imperial garden in China. The Summer Palace was a favorite haunt of the Dowager empress Cixi for her own enjoyment.

After lunch, you are at leisure to explore the city on your own.

You are at leisure and transferred to Beijing capital airport and take flight for your next destination.
