Picked up from your downtown hotel in Beijing around 8:30am and transferred to Miyun Apricot Garden for fresh apricots picking. Miyun is a county, about 100km northeast of downtown Beijing. It is famous for its apricots. The county has a wide variety of apricots, such as the Chuanhong, American Yinbai and 10 other varieties. Annual capacity can surpass 10,000 kilograms. Miyun's fresh apricots have well-defined color, and they are sweet and fragrant. As a result, the area's apricots have attracted great number of tourists each year.
After pre-arranged Chinese lunch, move on to Jinshanling Great Wall. The
was initially built from 1368 to 1389 in the Ming Dynasty, and in 1567 or 1570 rebuilding of the Wall was mainly directed by General Qi Jiguang. The Wall is about 21 to 24 feet high and 15 to 18 feet wide, which is made of brick and stone.
After the whole day trip, you are transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.
