A five-day private itinerary combining Lhasa’s city sights with an excursion to Namtso Lake.
Begin with an arrival transfer and free time in Lhasa, then visit the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street. Day three is an excursion to Namtso Lake, followed by a day visiting Norbulingka, Tibet Museum, the carpet factory and Sera Monastery. Depart from Lhasa on day five.
Arrive in Lhasa by train or flight and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free before the sightseeing programme begins.
Visit the Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street. The day brings together Lhasa’s palace, temple and old-town sights.
Travel from Lhasa to Namtso Lake and return to Lhasa. The lake excursion is the main sightseeing activity for the day.
Visit Norbulingka, Tibet Museum, the carpet factory and Sera Monastery. Confirm the current visiting arrangements with your trip advisor when planning the trip.
Enjoy free time until your transfer to Lhasa Airport or Lhasa Train Station for your onward journey.
