5 Day Chengdu Jiuzhaigou Huanglong Tour

Arrival at Chengdu Airport, met by our local English speaking tour guide and transferred to our designated hotel in downtown Chengdu. After Chinese lunch, first have a stroll around People's Park. People's Park is the most popular park in Chengdu. People's Park provides tourists an opportunity to have a glimpse of the leisure city of Chengdu. It is a great public outlet for joggers, tai qi enthusiasts, gamers, musicians, tea drinkers and grandparents with their grandchildren in tow.

Then have a walk along Jinli Street. The Jinli Old Street is located just next door to Wuhou Shrine. Actually Jinli Street is part of the Wuhou Shrine Museum. It has become a major tourist attraction in Chengdu, attracting a great number of travelers each each year, which boasts of ancient buildings, traditional cultures, local food and customs. At the end of the day tour, you are transferred back your hotel in Chengdu around 5:00pm.

Pick up from your hotel in Chengdu around 8:30am and drive to Changdu Panda Base. Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Centre has been constructed and imitated the pandas' natural habitat in the hope that they could have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. There you can see pandas almost in their natural environment as they have plenty of space around them. They are incredibly cute to watch. They spend most of their day eating bamboo.

After lunch, head to Leshan and visit Leshan Giant Buddha. It is approximately 160km in the southwest of Chengdu. The drive takes about 2 hours. You are taken to Leshan Port and board a boat cruising near the highest Buddha in the world on the huge rock of the hill carved in Tang Dynasty for surpressing the flood. you are able to take some pictures in front of the huge sculpture. Then cruise back to the port.

At the end of the day tour, you are transferred back your hotel in Chengdu around 5:00pm.

Take the early morning flight from Chengdu and arrive at Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport. Met by our English speaking tour guide.

The two-hour drive takes you to Huanglong Scenic Area, about 60km east of Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport. After lunch, visit Huanglong Scenic Area. Huanlong in Chinese means "Yellow Dragon", is nestled at the foot of the Jade Peak of Xuebaoding, the main peak of Minshan Mountain Rang. It is best known for the "Five Wonders", namely, the travertine colored ponds, the limestone shoals, the snowy peaks, the fascinating ravines and the forests. And the entire scenery is evocative of the dwelling place of the Queen Mother of the Western Paradise.

There are three ways of visiting the Huanglong Valley:

1. Walk 5km on the boardwalks up to the upmost tip - Five-colour Lake and then walk 5km down the boardwalks to the entrance.

2. First take the 5-8 minute cable car up to the platform called "Wanlong Ping", from which you walk 2km on the boardwalks to Five-color Lake. Then walk 5km down the boardwalks to the entrance.

3. Walk 5km on the boardwalks up to the upmost tip Five-colour Lake, then walk 2km on the boardwalks to the cable car station at "Wanlong Ping", take 5-8 minute cable car down to the ground.

Remark: Taking a cable car is not included.

After 4-5 hour tour in Huanglong Scenic Area, have another 3-hour drive and get to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area , 90km northwest of Huanglong. Check in at our designated hotel in Jiuzhaigou and have dinner in the hotel. After dinner, you are free for rest of the day.

At about 07:00am, after you have breakfast in the hotel, the driver picks you up to Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. It has been known throughout the world as a "Paradise in the Human World '"and "Fairyland on the Earth "for its crystal lakes and waterfalls, virgin forests, rare animals, and birds.

The whole day will stay in Jiuzhaigou valley, head to the Jiuzhaigou portal and transfer to Jiuzhaigou non-pollution bus, visit Shuzheng and Zezawa Valley; Pearl Sands, Shuzheng,Waterfall, Shuzheng, Panda, Chang, Rainbow, Tiger, Rhinoceros Lake and the Tibetan mills. Stay overnight in Jiuzhaigou.

You are transferred to Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport and take flight to Chengdu. Connect your flight to the next destination or you are free on your own in Chengdu.
