Want to do some shopping in Beijing during your Beijing tour? Carrefour is highly recommended. The French hypermarket offers a wide choice of wine, cheese, coffee, canned goods, daily necessities and much more. Shopping in Carrefour keeps you from your worries about fake or poor quality products.
The first carrefour supermarket was set up in Beijing in 1995. Now there are over 10 carrefour hypermarkets in Beijing. Some of Carrefour branches offer free delivery with certain distance for purchases over certain amount of money. But the crowds are thick for most of Carrefour branches in Beijing.
Ask your hotel people, or your taxi driver to locate a nearest carrefour in Beijing. Below are the addresses ( English and Chinese ) of the carrefour markets in Beijing for your reference. If necessary, you can ask the taxi driver to take you to the nearest Carrefour. In Chinese, it’s called Jia Le Fu 家乐福.
