China Printing Museum

As the largest museum specializing in China’s printing technology, the museum is located in the Beijing Printing institute. Printing technology is one of the four great inventions of ancient China, and its development and dissemination has had a profound influence on human civilization and social progress in the world.

The museum houses three specialized exhibition areas: “Ancient Printing” “Modern Printing” and “New Technology and Equipment”. All together, they illustrate the Chinese history of printing, through the displays of all types of articles, pictures, texts and models.
